Disastrous Shadow Keys are items crafted from 4 Fury Essences, 4 Dark Coins, and a Sinister Shadow Key.

Uses

Disastrous Shadow Keys are the required item for getting access to the Shadowland's second side-dimension, Madolv. Similar to its previous forms, the Disastrous Shadow Key is a throwable item, and when it hits an object a spray of dark purple mist emits from its source. Once the other requirements for getting to Madolv are fulfilled, then the Player must throw the Disastrous Shadow Key at a Voxrokaut, and the portal to Madolv will open up (this also kills the Voxrokaut). 

Disastrous Shadow Keys, when crafted with 2 Night Gems, 2 Shadowfire, 1 Dark Coin, 1 Darkjade, 1 Dark Obsidian, and 1 Fury Essence, will output an Apocalyptic Shadow Key - the required item for getting into Bojkreg. It is also one of the many crafting ingredients for the Guardian Key (along with Dolvstone, a Leaper Fang, Bedolv, and a Dark Coin)

Trivia

• If a Disastrous Shadow Key is thrown at a firework, the DSK and the firework will get stuck. Once the firework explodes, however, the DSK will land on the ground.
