Zharr'nagth

Zharr'nagth

Zharr'nagth (ZAR-NAG-uth) is the 'boss' of Mheln; he flies around looking for any living entities and doesn't always particularly fight with the Player. He is popular in Mhaelotian mythology and is said to be the father of Raptis.

Behavior[]

It isn't uncommon to see Zharr'nagth but not actually encounter him. He will usually ignore the player as he flies around from platform to platform, but if he and the Player reach a 30 block vicinity, a cutscene will play.

(Cutscene Lines)

The Player: Sheesh! I thought I could only jump a block. This place is really weird...

  • Zharr'nagth approaches the Player, easily towering over them*

The Player: Whoah. Who...what...

Zharr'nagth: A living creature? How interesting...

The Player: Huh?

Zharr'nagth: *flicks long tail around the platform the Player is standing on* You must have come a long way to reach this place, young...what is your species?

The Player: Aren't you gonna fight me or something?

Zharr'nagth: Answer my question first and then I will answer yours.

The Player: I am (player's name; if one was not entered at start of game, he will say "Steve") of Minecraftia.

Zharr'nagth: Ah, (player's name). I had a hunch that you would come here sooner or later.

The screen darkens a bit and a message pops up asking in bold letters, "Will you fight this being or will you leave it in peace?". Below it are two buttons, one saying Attack and the other saying Peace. If the player chooses Attack, the cutscene will stop and Zharr'nagth will attack the player with an Ender Dragon behavior AI. If they choose Peace, then Zharr'nagth will fly away and ignore the player for the rest of the time in Mheln.

Zharr'nagth has 700 <3, which is small compared to other bosses, and drops various items upon defeat and a load of XP. The items are selected at random in bunches of 1 to 5 depending on the rarity of the item, so it is possible to get something as low as dirt to as high as five Celedoran Blades. The rarer the item, however, the less likely it is that he will drop it.
